Location and Work Details

  • Locations: Ang Mo Kio and over 30 outlets islandwide. Assignments will be based on proximity to your residence for convenience.
  • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time.
  • Working Hours: 5-day work week, 8-hour shifts based on roster. Flexibility in scheduling may be required during peak periods.
  • Salary: $2,700 to $3,500 per month, with gross potential up to $3,200.
  • Training: Comprehensive hands-on training is provided, ensuring you have all the skills required to succeed, even if you are new to the barista profession.

Responsibilities

As a Tea Barista, your role will encompass a wide range of tasks designed to ensure both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction:

  1. Beverage Preparation
    • Prepare a variety of tea and milk-based beverages according to standardized recipes.
    • Customize drinks according to customer preferences while maintaining quality standards.
    • Use professional brewing techniques and equipment to ensure consistent taste and presentation.
  2. Customer Service
    • Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
    • Take orders accurately and efficiently.
    • Handle payments and ensure smooth transactions.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and feedback in a helpful and courteous manner.
  3. Quality Control and Consistency
    • Monitor beverage quality, including taste, appearance, and temperature.
    • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality drinks for every customer.
    • Follow operational standards and protocols to maintain the integrity of the brand.
  4. Inventory Management
    • Monitor stock levels for ingredients, teas, and supplies.
    • Restock items as required and report any shortages to management.
    • Assist in organizing and managing the storage area to maintain order and accessibility.
  5. Cleanliness and Safety
    • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized barista station.
    • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
    • Participate in regular cleaning schedules and maintenance tasks.
  6. Team Collaboration
    • Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
    • Support team members during peak hours or high-demand periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
