JURONG CENTRAL KITCHEN (BAKERY PRODUCTION)

 

A well-established bakery central kitchen located in Jurong is currently expanding its operations and is urgently looking for dedicated individuals to join the team as Packers on both a Full-Time and Part-Time basis.

The company supplies a wide range of bakery products including bread, pastries, cakes and other baked goods to various outlets, cafes and customers across Singapore.

Due to increasing demand and higher production volume, the company is seeking reliable and hardworking staff to support daily packaging and production activities.

This role is suitable for individuals who are looking for stable employment in the food production industry. Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided by the company.

WORK SCHEDULE
Full-Time employees work on a 5.5-day work week schedule.

Full-Time Working Hours
6:00 AM to 3:00 PM
7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Employees may be required to perform overtime depending on daily production requirements and order volumes.

Overtime work is compensated according to company policy.
Part-Time Working Hours
7:00 AM to 2:00 PM
8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Additional hours may be required during peak production periods, festive seasons or when there is a higher volume of customer orders.

 

SALARY AND PAY STRUCTURE
Full-Time Salary
Monthly salary ranges from $1600 to $2400 depending on experience, job performance and overtime hours worked. Employees who consistently perform well may have opportunities to earn higher monthly income through overtime work and performance incentives.

Part-Time Salary
Weekdays: $9 per hour
Weekends and Public Holidays: Additional $2 per hour
This pay structure allows part-time employees to earn higher hourly income when working during weekends or public holidays.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Packer plays an important role in ensuring that bakery products are properly packed, labelled and prepared for distribution. The role supports the production team and helps maintain product quality standards before items are delivered to customers or retail outlets.

Main duties include the following:

Packing bread, pastries, cakes and other bakery items into the appropriate packaging according to company standards.

Performing sealing and labeling of packaged products to ensure freshness, hygiene and accurate product identification.

Ensuring that all packed products are arranged correctly in trays or containers for delivery according to order requirements.

Checking product quantity and verifying the correct type of products before dispatch to prevent errors.

Assisting with stock checking and inventory organization within the packing area.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the work area, including cleaning tables, trays, packaging equipment and ensuring proper disposal of waste.

Following food safety and hygiene guidelines required for working in a food production environment.

Supporting the production and packing team during high-volume periods to ensure daily output targets are achieved.

Working closely with supervisors and colleagues to maintain smooth workflow and timely completion of packing tasks.

Performing additional duties or ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors or management when necessary.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
This position is open to Singapore citizens only.
Candidates with no previous experience are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tasks efficiently within tight production schedules.

Physically fit individuals are preferred as the job requires standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting moderate loads.

Employees must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays when scheduled.
