Salary Package:

– Basic salary: $2,000 – $2,500 per month
– Annual Wage Supplement (AWS)
– Variable Bonus (VB) based on performance
– Overtime (OT) pay available

Role Overview

The Storekeeper plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This position involves a combination of physical handling, inventory management, and operational coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with company standards.

 

 

This role requires attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work consistently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing hands-on tasks and adhering to structured workflows.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving and Incoming Goods Management

– Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against delivery documentation
– Inspect goods for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies
– Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all received items
– Coordinate with relevant departments if issues arise with incoming goods

2. Storage and Inventory Organization

– Sort, categorize, and store items in designated warehouse locations
– Ensure goods are stored safely and in compliance with storage guidelines
– Maintain systematic arrangement to facilitate easy retrieval and stock tracking
– Monitor stock levels and assist in replenishment activities

3. Picking, Packing, and Order Fulfillment

– Accurately pick items based on order lists or system instructions
– Pack goods securely to prevent damage during transportation
– Perform palletizing and staging of goods for shipment
– Label products clearly and correctly according to specifications
– Ensure all outgoing orders meet quality and accuracy standards

4. Inventory Control and Stock Accuracy

– Participate in regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits
– Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems where required
– Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or excess stock
– Assist in improving inventory control processes and accuracy

5. Warehouse Operations Support

– Load and unload goods from vehicles using proper handling techniques
– Support daily warehouse activities to ensure operational efficiency
– Assist in coordinating the movement of goods within the warehouse
– Carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors

6. Safety, Cleanliness, and Compliance

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
– Follow all workplace safety regulations and company policies
– Use equipment and tools safely and responsibly
– Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or incidents immediately
– Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times

 

Job Requirements

– Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or storekeeping roles is preferred
(e.g., high-tech, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or retail industries)
– Physically fit and able to handle manual work, including lifting and moving goods
– Basic understanding of warehouse processes and inventory systems is an advantage
– Ability to follow instructions and adhere to procedures accurately
– Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
– Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
– Team player with good communication skills
– Willingness to learn and adapt to operational requirements

 

Working Hours and Conditions

– Monday to Friday (5-day work week)
– 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
– Fixed schedule with no regular weekend work required
– Warehouse environment that may involve moderate physical activity
– Exposure to operational conditions typical of logistics facilities
