About the Role 

We are currently seeking committed, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Aeroplane Parts Cleaners at Changi Airport. This role plays an important part in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall condition of aircraft components, contributing directly to passenger comfort and aviation safety standards.

 

 

As part of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that aircraft interiors and components are thoroughly cleaned, maintained, and restored to meet strict industry requirements. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically active, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

 

 

Employment Details

• Position Title: Aeroplane Parts Cleaner
• Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
• Work Schedule: 5 Days per Week
• Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Salary: $2,420 per month
• Daily Rate: Approximately $110 per day

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to carry out a wide range of cleaning and maintenance duties, including but not limited to:

 

 

Aircraft Component Cleaning

• Perform thorough cleaning of various aeroplane parts and interior components
• Ensure all cleaned items meet operational and safety cleanliness standards

 

Seat and Interior Maintenance

• Clean aircraft seats, including fabric and leather materials
• Conduct leather conditioning to maintain durability and appearance
• Perform minor leather repairs where required

 

 

Specialized Cleaning Tasks

• Carry out ink mark removal and touch-up on leather surfaces
• Perform carpet shampooing, deep cleaning, and stain removal
• Conduct spot cleaning to maintain cleanliness between deep cleans

 

Lavatory Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize aircraft lavatories following strict hygiene standards
• Ensure all surfaces are disinfected and safe for use

 

Equipment and Safety Compliance

• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly and safely
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and operational procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas after use

 

Team and Operational Support

• Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete assigned tasks
• Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks within deadlines
• Assist with additional duties or special cleaning assignments when required

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Able to work in a warm, humid, and physically demanding environment
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual cleaning work
• Comfortable working around aircraft parts and confined spaces
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of cleanliness and hygiene
• Responsible, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to learn and adapt to different cleaning procedures
• Prior experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is an advantage (training will be provided)
