WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT (FORKLIFT) – EAST AREA (BEDOK / CHANGI)

Location: East Region, Singapore
Specific Area: Bedok / Changi
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Schedule: 5 Days Work Week (Monday to Friday)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM
Salary: $14 per hour
Payout: Weekly or Monthly (subject to arrangement)
Contract Period: Immediate start until 31 August (extendable based on performance and operational needs)
Overtime: Available on Saturdays when required, compensated according to company policy

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in inventory tallying, stock counting, and maintaining accurate records of goods
• Handle physical movement of items, including lifting, carrying, and arranging products (approximately 10–15kg per item)
• Load and unload goods from incoming trucks and containers
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are prepared accurately and securely
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or loss
• Conduct basic checks on goods received and dispatched to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations at all times
• Provide support for additional ad-hoc warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Forklift License (mandatory requirement)
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks in a warehouse setting
• Able to carry moderately heavy items on a regular basis
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
• Able to commit for the full contract duration
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations will be an added advantage

Dress Code and Safety Requirements:

• Safety shoes must be worn at all times within the warehouse premises
• Long pants are required for safety compliance
• Adherence to all workplace health and safety guidelines is compulsory
